 last night i took a late bike ride down the queensway past the south edge of . i stopped at the southwest corner of near ellis ave as something caught my eye out in the water. floating in the darkness were two luminous . amazing how the simple curve of a neck can be so serene. and then psychadelia overwhelmed me map of high park: www.toronto.ca/parks/highpark/map_highpark.pdf.pdf

This is a statue of Ed Ricketts, the man that Steinbeck wrote alot about in Cannery Row. Someone put the flowers on the statue and I thought it looked right somehow.
