NYC Street Cart in Downtown Springfield

5th & Monroe Street. So let's see, it's a New York City street cart that's from a company in Miami and the cart is in Springfield. If I'm not mistaken the guy who runs this cart was beaten and/or robbed earlier this year at this spot. I don't think it's always stored here as I don't recall ever seeing it or anybody running a cart anywhere else downtown, but I'm not usually downtown during the day on weekdays.

History Through the Cracks

Old streetcar tracks poking through the pavement on rue Ste-Catherine, Downtown. A hole in the pavement on rue Gaspé in the northern part of the Plateau gives us a glimpse of the old cobblestones still beneath many Montreal streets.

there's huge bushfires just out of melbourne at the moment, the worst since about 1930. Many days in the past couple of weeks have seen the city covered in a low smoke-haze.
