Pool of blood on the PATH platform at Newark Penn Station. The police officer carrying the clean-up materials prohibited me from taking additional/closer photos, and watched me until my train arrived to ensure that I did not do so. Freedom Tower

Its blurry because it was taken through a dirty PATH train window (and a layer of construction mesh), and though there are many pros and cons about this "Freedom Tower", I wanted to document it. This is the first trench they've dug/blasted, to begin pouring the foundation for the underground vaults on the east side of the new building's footprint.
