i am going mental with the rain and the migraine. must remember to move to a desert. see the little crack in my bathroom window? it's a bullet wound, yes. from an air rifle, mind, but they can still put your eye out. this, here, is einstien's brain. it is an illegally precured photo from a picture library. i treasure it. i am going completely berzerk here, too manky to go out, to ill to be creative. feel sorry for me and send me healing vibes if you have a heart

oh! they sooo lovely! thankyou, the vibes definately work!

Peter: 27th Jul 2005 - 13:45 GMT

heh. i like the little orange tv. and of course, the brain slice photos...

often, we get so caught up in the sweeping portraits of cityscapes here, the graf, bridges, etc that we forget that some of the truest essences of citynoise can reside in the curiosities that surround our banal lives.

i used to make lots of posts like this back in the day. maybe i will again.

thanks for this post elaine, and FEEL BETTER! :D

it was just as well einstein had such a great big head - he had a great big brain to fit in it. i love the telly too, i bought it for an art installation which was an animation i made called luckydog. the soundtrack drove the people minding the exhibiton mental.. so maybe my corrent state is karma. i just watched 'the kidnappers' on it, which doggy comfort theme seems appropriate for today. i had thought about doing interior shots before, and loved jeeff's tokyo apartment, but we always think of our homes as too normal i guess, though in fact they are probly really only normal to us, and there are probly distinctly londony things here, plus staying in in your too small flat in the mucky weather and illness times and getting stir crazy is very city. if i lived somewere with a garden i would go out even in the rain

Even with Garden the rain and lack of energy makes the sofa and a film more appealing for healing - though we know what we need to do - it is sometimes the hardest thing to be good to ourselves. Elaine just do and be in this moment with whatever you feel and know that this too will pass.

doggy theme: in leeds today, there's a pet food factory nearby which makes the air smell of rancid fat. still the little mites gotta eat I s'pose. hope your brain stops hurtin' - r

Note: I deleted the letter originally posted here because the City Council vote is past, and in retrospect I don't feel comfortable with the personal information it contained. To sum up the letter: I think it's a bad idea...
