I love what you've been hitting us with lately. You seem to have a genuine affection for london and thats great. I enjoyed the stuff. I always like to see the street performers when i'm there, which isn't often anymore. I once bought an awesome bruce lee shirt from a stall on covent garden market, i think that was the last time i was there, a good few years ago now. I was living in Northern Ireland at the time and was on a bit of a sightseeing trip with my then girlfriend who was irish, and found the whole place quite bemusing. I remember we took the tube from kings cross to covent garden, i can still see the look of awe on her face as she tried to grasp the concept that you could travel for so long and still be in the same town. She was funny, a real redneck.

when i first moved to london i lived in the ghetto, kennington near brixton and oval. after about 6 months i realized that i wanted to live somewhere more fun closer to the nightlife. I found a one bedroom apartment near covent garden and fell in love with the area, i was a 5 minute walk away from the best bookshops and theatres in the world and not to mention covent garden itself and soho.

i miss london alot.

Peter: so whyd you move back then?

steelisreal: 5th Mar 2005 - 02:48 GMT

cause I am in the navy and they transfered me to language school in monterey, and the duty station in london closed so I can't be stationed there again

this is one of my favorite hotels of all time A sign at the front desk instructs against storing anything on top of your room; apparently, it's a fire hazard. Three make deliveries across the street. Nighttime
