Train Derails on Bridge II

Yesterday I went back to the scene of the train derailment that happened during Friday's windstorm. (See the first page of this series) There were a lot of people there taking pictures this time, and the media were all over the place, as CP Rail was getting ready to attempt to remove the railcars that were jammed between the two tracks of the bridge.

Some of the media that were present at the scene. These vans belong to CTV and TVA newscrews. Police in the background were keeping people away from the bridge. The atmosphere was that of a circus, with hundreds of onlookers and media all over the riverfront, all with cameras, most of which were a lot nicer than mine :-(

A Radio-Canada/CBC film crew that were trying to interview me due to my knowledge of the winter conditions on the bridge, from the many times I had walked across it. I declined, as there are many others who are much more familiar with this bridge than I.

I managed to get a decent sunset photo out of the deal.
