Italia
[previous] :: [next]i was disappointed at first to see that there are not many posts of other places, so i am seeking to change that. i have some pictures of the Tuscany (Toscana) region in Italy from 2 years back. this is the Duomo di Firenze, in Florence, Italy. its enormous and impossible to capture in a picture. for all of the area that it displaces, it is magnificently detailed.-
this is a picture of a street leading to the piazza in siena, where the famous Pallio takes place. its a small, medieval city and all of its streets are tiny and generally lead into the main square, which fills up with people basking in the sun, eating, laughing n having a good time.-

Please don't take this as a negative comment, just try and keep within a 600 pixels wide format if you can, it just keeps things neat :-) Hope you have more pics from Italia for us! fede: 2nd May 2005 - 04:07 GMTmy bad.......how do i fix it though, to fit in 600 pxls? i dont have photoshop, should i put it in paint? Jamie: 2nd May 2005 - 06:29 GMTI'm not sure if paint can do that. You seem to have a pretty good camera didn't it come bundled with some photo editing software? Almost every camera/scanner comes with shitty software in the box, not much good but perfectly adequate for resizing. Other than that there is a photoshop alternative called Gimp which is freely downloadable. But in any case don't worry. Your photos are pretty cool (especially the fisheye stuff) and we like them whatever size they are! Peter: 2nd May 2005 - 14:10 GMTif you cant resize em, dont worry, we try to stay on that for people that cant do it themsevles. it just makes the page load faster and look a little more orderly :) that being said, i love this series!! thanks for posting some nea material from new palces for us- im sure i can speak for us all when i say wed love to see alot more! aer suzuki: 24th Aug 2006 - 10:23 GMTdoesn't look like you're around anymore, but glad you posted these...excellent views.
