An old haunt of mine from my late teens, Sex Appeal has a very small and cozy interior that basically ensures that no matter where you sit, you will get a good view. It is located on Sainte-Catherine Street near Place des Arts metro station.
Without cropping, the first photo gives a better view of the area around Sex Appeal.
I have not gone through this entrance and down those stairs in sixteen years, but I still remember it well. Mind you, the lap dancing booths were not there back then, I wonder how they managed to fit those in.
A look at some of the graffiti from the other side.
I love the contrast in this shot, with the tall colourful towers of glass and steel flanking the stone spire of Saint James United Church, all of which look over the low stone graf-adorned buildings of this part of the street. And above the fray, the branches of a tree stand guard. Montreal is so awesome at times like this.

You mean Sexe-Mania, the one near Frontenac Metro, across from the Tim Horton's that was the first in Montreal? I don't have any pics at the moment, but I know it well, although it has been many years since I set foot in there, as well. I'll see what I can do.

the blonde on the marque looks like the girl on the plane in first class and the attendant told her to move to coach because she didn't have tickets for first class and the blonde loudly states that she is blonde, beautiful, going to new york city and is not moving, so the attendant gets the co-pilot and she tells him the samt thing and so finally the pilot says, i have a wife, she is a blonde i can handle this, and he goes to the blonde and whispers into her ear and she jumps up and goes to her seat in coach and the all ask him what he said and he says he told her that this section was not going to new york but the coach section was.

Yes, they are. All strip bars in Montreal feature full nudity. Some go a little further, but I believe it is still illegal to do so.
