Some guy in card board armor had a sign like this, but it said "NINJAS KILLED MY FAMILY - NEED MONEY FOR BETTER ARMOR"

DUDE I saw that same guy with the cardboard armor who said that. I rolled down my window and praised him. He was on the corner of walker right? Man that was hillarious. He said "It sure beats watching TV." I was like "YES IT DOES HERE IS FIFTY BUCKS!!!" well I would of given him some if I saw him haha. But this guy was dressed all out in cardboard armor and stuff. So funny!

Haha, I remember saying that, I even had those armor leg pads.
That was really embarrassing, funny though. Nevertheless, it was smart to wear a sweat-shirt, last time I got sunburned.

Some jerk threw change at me, so I didn't pick it up. At least 13 people took my picture (including cells).

i saw that guy in dupont circle this summer. he also had a sign on that asked for money so that he could go get drunk and have sex with two women at once.

He is still hanging out in the city as of last weekend. Seemed like a pretty nice guy. The first sign we read was about the drunken sex with the two women. It was too funny not to stop. I figured at least he was honest.

I know this guy personally he is up in New York now... he left baltimore last year some time. I hung out with him almost everyday at the square where my friends hung out. The ugly truth behind this guy is that he is a crack head... he made alot of money and would do coke and herion.... I've seen him do such right in front of me.... however he did pick up some hot girl one night... I'm shocked he's still alive

I saw this guy late Monday night, he told me to google "ninjas killed my family". He talked non stop for 30 minutes, talked about his experiences in jail, mentioned he'd been in Baltimore. I actually have a couple photos of him, with new, improved signs. He got off at 59th street, saying he was going to a strip bar to have a good time.

I'm willing to bet this guy takes home more money than some stockbrokers do. I knew a guy in Montreal who said he averaged $300 to $400 a day, at a time when the Canadian dollar was worth about 85 cents US (around the late 1980's)

So that would be about $255 to $340 in US dollars per day, or about $80,000 US per year. (He usually worked 5 days a week, depending on the weather) Not a bad salary.

Now keep in mind, the guy I just mentioned was an elderly man who was polite, but he had no real gimmicks to speak of, and he was working the streets of Montreal.

Just imagine what the guy in this article is making, considering his creative signage, and the much denser pedestrian traffic and milder climate of New York.

So be careful what you say about him. If he has been investing in the right portfolios, one day, he could very well become the CEO of whatever company you work for.

James usually works till he gets enough money for food, then goes shopping then fixes dinner or eats out. Currently he's living with a "friend" who got a bit loony and is now in Bellview so the Con Edison bill didn't get paid - so he tries to fix dinner before it gets dark.
