MONDAY MORNING WALKABOUT

- MC - Monday, October 24th, 2005 : goo

[previous] :: [next]

These Photos were taken whilst on a walkabout around the city, if anyone recognises any of the grafs then let me know so that I can give appropriate credit.

All of these photos were taken using a poor quality cam so I apologise - I am waiting on my digital camera.

This photo was taken in the childrens play area part of the park opposite good ol' Morrisons. I love this graf - I need to get a good picture of it using a higher quality camera - would look great as a black and white print.

image 5868

This is a cool litte piece, I like the way it seems to blend in with the greenery around it - almost like it is supposed to be there.

image 5869

Is this your tag? It is painted on the side of a shop called MANIC VINYL in St Albans.

image 5870

This footbridge gives a great view of the surrounding area although I have probably not taken the best picture to show this.

image 5871

This is a photo of where my walkabout finally took me - to the grounds of St Albans cathedral - This is a photo of the lush greens you can find around it which goes to show that even cities have their own little bit of peace.

image 5872

A poor photo - was supposed to show the stunning architecture of the cathedral but the camera doesn't pic it up very well.

Thanks to everyone who has had a look at my first upload of photos - If anyone recognises anything or wants to have their say then please do. If you don't want to leave a message publicly then you can send one over to me at Sproketjockey@bulldoghome.com

nice photos. i kinda like lofi toycam shots like these, but i know how frustrating it can be to wanna get a good hi-res shot when all ya got is lofi. What is it cameraphone? or one of those little toycams?

also: cathedral? does that mean that st albans is technically a city?

Pizza Lilass

Located two doors east of Le Spectrum, is this strangely named pizzeria. Lilas is the French word for lilac, and I see flowers on the sign, but I could not find any meaning for the word "lilass". I suspect either...
