It Will Be a Long Winter Part II

The BMW was blocking the streetcars. So far, three street cars could not get through. A shuttlebus already picked up passengers. My question is, why don't they tow the bl__dy car. The stupidity/cockiness/inconsideration/whateveritmaybe of the driver is causing more misery to other people in this already miserable weather.

Alkawl, I don't know where you are from, but there are gorgeous weathers (even in the winter) and there are awful weathers here in Canada. And knowing such could make your life a lot easier.

Yes, snow fall is beautiful when it is light. Snow on the ground is beautiful after a heavy snow storm and the snow plow and the salter have not come in yet and you do not have to go out. Picture window. This is in the city. Ot is always beautiful in the country.

It is mireable when there is a raging snow storm with ice pellets and freezing rain and wind up to 60 kms. and hour. Imagine those ice pellets and freezing rain hitting your face as it did mine when I was shovelling. Mercifully, this does not happen everyday. I guess I am a Torontonian. We just love to whine. But there was nothing beautiful when that picture was taken.

grange: LOL.. Elicar..

Elicar , you can shovel my drive anytime .. Did it 3 times that day . 34cm snow / drifts , wind .awwwwwwww I love winter . lol.
Now those plows that put it all back in my lane is another story .

Elicar: 25th Dec 2007 - 03:20 GMT

I am luckier than you Grange, I did it twice. It would have been easier if I did it three times. I should've done it at 8:00 AM. I went out but came immediately back in because og the BEAUTIFUL but very WICKED weather. I had to do it around 10:00 AM though, otherwise, I won't be able to get out! I did it again at around 1:00 PM

I Know You Did It!!!

These two posters were on either side of the road from each other. I have absolutely no idea what they're about. (The factory in the background of picture 2 used to be an old shoe factory I used to work in....
