Catherine Penfold-Waxman: My favorite near-Ecumenopolis is Mega-City One from Judge Dredd (2000AD). It would be a pure Ecumenopolis if it wasn't for the abandoned radioactive center (Cursed Earth) which would then allow Mega-City Two and Texas City......
