The Extent of Graffiti

Horncastle is pretty much graffiti free, save for random expletives scratched and marker penned onto lamposts and benches. The usuaul teenage scrawl. These rushed and rather haphazard tags though appeared over night a couple of weeks ago and haven't as yet been buffed.

I watched a guy proudly painting this building for two days. The next day this tag appeared on it. He hasn't painted over it though.

ahh, that sucky trend where the crappiest graf is also the most prevalent. they need more stickerers and writers in .

also: that sign is pretty cool.

Jamie: 23rd Jun 2005 - 15:20 GMT

Yeah, although i don't personally agree with tagging or writing onto old architecturally interesting buildings, though there are plenty of post-war concrete boxes around here.

Jamie: 23rd Jun 2005 - 15:22 GMT

There is some pretty cool stickering going on here though:

Bushbaby: WAR! (s'never been so much fun)

A few of the silver "WAR" tags have been buffed. What a shame. I found this new one in an alleyway though. It appears to be a horsefaced young lady. nice.

stay tuned for more developments in the horncastle street art saga

Arctic Graf Truck

While up in the Inuit village of Kuujjuaq this morning, I took this shot of a truck across from my hotel. I figured it makes a unique addition to the series. Located 900 miles north of Montreal and 230...
