This article has been viewed 2360 times in the last 34 months Slomo: 24th Jun 2007 - 20:11 GMTI used to be a bikemessenger in NYC from 98'-03', almost everyday i had to go to 601 W 26th Street, the actual address of the building, there were guys, mostly russians, they exactly knew how to stop the elevator cars on the floor...all manual operated, it was a blast everytime i had to go here...after 9/11 they opened a messenger center, and some of the floors were rented out to... the US Department of Homeland Security. New elevators, no more graph in the building and no more messengers alowed on the upper floors... Bummer !!! But, once in a while you could still sneak into the building, as security wasn't so smart, whatz's new...? ridesafe Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
