"This one guy was out taking pictures for the city, photographing a water plant before they worked on it, to help put it back together after they were done. Someone called HPD and he was arrested. Thankfully he had his credentials on him and managed to get off.."

It's hard work in the middle of the night. Late October and 85 degrees, deep humidity, fighting off mosquitoes from the overgrown banks of the channelized bayou.

Infrastructure exists quietly beneath our feet until it fails and there's a 50ft sinkhole on a major road. We should strive have a greater appreciation of the hardworking men and women who build and maintain it.

i love textaul content. photos are great but a bit of prose really sets them off
