Crane Game

Crane games are popular in Korea and Japan (and elsewhere I'm sure). Most crane games give you six tries when you pay 1000won.

This particular crane game had American currency on offer. I've seen a lot of strange things on offer in the crane games (live lobsters being one of them), but usually they are filled with cheap shit that only drunk people or kids want (lighters and various other 'made in china' crap). For some reason, I needed these American dollars!

That's right biatches! I got myself a crisp two dollar bill for 1000won. Now that's sound investment. Too bad I spent another 4000 won trying to win a second time.

As you can see, the cage is loosely held together with lock ties, and they weighed the bill down with a box of clay!

You can hardly find a $2 bill in America.....looks like Seoul is the place to get em. Here are some crane games I found in Tokyo (obviously took the pic cause of the name of the arcade).

how curious that they have US $2 bills as prizes... any idea what the korean text on the bill-package says? interestingly, i was recently reading this, as i saw a $2 bill on display behind the counter of my local :

it says, keep this $2 for good luck or some shit.
