I covet the apartment of a friend in Manhattan--she's got a window positioned right above the lip of her bathtub, so you could stand there and look out over the spires of a church and beyond to the harbor...my friend is SF calls her apartment a tenement, and the shower is a later addition to the tub, but I love the way the light pours in...
