[previous] :: [next]yesterday i stayed home from work, and in the early afternoon i walked down to davis square for some lunch. on the weekends at this hour, the area is crowded with people or at least populated heavily with folks in relaxation mode; but on this weekday it felt a little empty. the people about seemed to encompass a wider array of backgrounds, even though that may not be true at all. i love being places in the off hours; sitting in a coffeeshop during the office-working world's commutes and riding the train in the middle of a weekday. i've even been known to appreciate the still creepiness of a financial district at night.
