i'm a brooklyn native and originally from east flatbush. my parents left there to move to long island [for...... Dee: I also went to jhs 111. The years I attended were 1966-1969 the school was about a year old then. I hated it, and to the young man that said
your friend wasn't encouraged...... teachnyc: I work in bushwick's schools and I can't tell you how many times I hear my counterparts from our sister districts in queens talk about how bad it is in BW (they never want to...... upfromflames: sure did. I always credit others.
Bushwick needs teachers, but most of all it needs teachers that came from here. They understand most what kids need here.
