One of These Days I'm Going to Leave You in Your Sleep

I took these photos last year on the Amtrak train to Boston during Christmas break, and have been on the fence since then about posting them because of their very dubious technical merit (and lack of a city to put them in). I like them anyway, so here they are.

There is a great deal of terrific, colorful graf near the railroad tracks along this route, especially in New York and Massachusetts, if I remember correctly. Unfortunately it was too hard for me to catch.

i really like that first one, and the brown tones.

my memories of amtrak and some of the pictures i took from the train are a lot like yours. basically the train tracks are in the more industrial and run down parts of the city. you see a lot of urban 'brown' zones.
a lot of no man's land when you go by train.

Dead Tree Killed By Construction

Dead tree killed by near my place of employment. Developers tore down a small apartment complex to squeeze three condos on this corner. The condos are ridiculously overpriced at $600,000. I would never buy a place for that much...
