But thinking about the swanky neighborhood, it might be real gold. GGP: 16th Dec 2005 - 00:10 GMTthis image is so inescapably upper east side. i know why the caged wreath writhes. jamie: 16th Dec 2005 - 09:39 GMTit must be a very swanky neigbourhood. the lion isn't chained to anything. Peter: 16th Dec 2005 - 15:02 GMTyup, the upper east side (esp in teh area in question) is extremely swanky... as in, old-money "rich old people" swanky. but even so, i betcha that lion is still cemented in... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 16th Dec 2005 - 18:33 GMTIt's probably rigged up to electrocute people who make under six figures. Peter: 16th Dec 2005 - 18:45 GMTyeah, cause the "poverty line" for that neighborhood def hovers around six figures... elaine: 17th Dec 2005 - 18:46 GMTso precious! do you see - the little gold detail on the fence too. it creates a golden triangle of smugness elaine: 17th Dec 2005 - 18:50 GMToh! i just noticed your reference to 'you ain't goin nowhere' - the phrase chalk and cheese comes to mind, doesn't it?
