hi jo! thanks for posting these. wow, that train station looks like something out of the future... as you know, we dont have anything nearly that cool here in nyc. nz must have hired some very forward-thinking, modern designers... seems like cutting edge architecture there is a little more common than alot of other places- v. cool.

i love the photo of the stained-glass dome, too... my hometown in tennessee had a window like that in the roof of the rotunda in the county courthouse. it was sort of an attraction- this huge, tall open rotunda with a beautiful window like that that seemed to float in thin air. it was quite something for the small town.

anyways, thanks for posting :) we always love the kiwi photos around here!

A typically brave and beautiful Kiwi project. Just ignore the people who knock and mock; they are just jealous. Can't wait for whole Britomart Precint project to be completed. Well done Auckland.

Took my kids here for a visit and ride. This place is really modern-another great attraction of Auckland-You should all come for a look!

I went there last friday. Its awesome. A really great blend of modern and old architecture.
