skip: art has always been about expression, and this is why most graffiti is plain vandalism.writing a tag and some crew under it has no expression.there are a few graffiti artists that used/use expression. heres...... little ukraine: I love to think that this probably started with just one person placing one sticker there, then walking away. This is the ultimate gum window. I can't imagine why they haven't been removed.... aer suzuki: in seattle at least, {stickers} are better than tags (in general) because the stickers are more actual art whereas most of the tags are just thin scrawly crap. piss-markings. although if you really look you...... aer suzuki: odd. this article showed up in 'recently viewed' while i was creating a post of two pictures i just took during a long walk home (walked through the same walkway you took the recent i-5...... aer suzuki: thanks, well even though it's not my doing so much...it's a night-photo (yeah straight up) of a local bus stop sign. i was waiting for the bus looking at it thinking a single sticker is...... aer suzuki: i'm totally into this kind of stencil (and sticker for that matter) art...the strange stuff. yeah.... riot: as an old skool peterborough street artist from the 90's,and someone who has visited places like new york city to see street art, i would just like to thank the one up crew for placeing...... Peter: some constructive tips:
1) practice cleaning up the {stencil}-work. they seem to start crisp and then get drippy and bleedy... as if you either got alot more rushed as you went (which makes sense- no one...... tangent: these photos are of the highest quality, and i'm especially interested by undergrowth-face and pulling-faces-girl. The old Department of Employment building looks folorn, i love decrepit and abandoned institutuional building like this. they are seedy...... quaque: i live in the wpb area, but i dont do alot of spray graff. mostly just stickers, you don't get caught with em as easily anyway, im just starting and mostly practice in abandoned places....... jimbop : im 13 and love sticker street art me and my twin bro do it all around our high school and it gets some gud publicity so im happy ... supafreak: exelent stuff nice stickers but take a look at westgarth village on gigh street theres a furnature store there that has some VERY cool promotional stuff on the side but i may have been covered...... joey: did the brooklyn pet bird sticker artist move to hawaii?...
