I was thrilled to read about...... Paul: I live in downtown Toronto and I think our downtown is quite impressive, with the coloured lights on the Skydome and CN Tower it really enhances the night view and the Royal Bank Plaza glitters...... Elicar: In a morbid way, it's nice to hear EvilG rant again, if ya know what I mean!
EvilG, In Ontario, we pay a health care premium. I am not sure about the amount now as tax...... EvilGentleman: 39 - Tourists usually ask for directions to the strip bars and trendy nightclubs, **not** "boring" world-famous stuff like Old Montreal, the Plateau Mont-Royal, The Forum, Mount Royal and our smoked-meat delicatessens.... I didn't know about the earthquakes in those cities. How often to earthquakes occur in Montreal? How bad are they usually?
This is what...... EvilGentleman: Thanks, jack.
You know, I am not 100 percent sure about that, Chris. You may be right, but I distinctly remember Eaton's having to become Eaton, and a few weeks ago, the town of Mount Royal...... EvilGentleman: Nakurmiik, I miss the mountains very much now, especially the part coming up soon when the ice breaks up.
But I missed the summer heat here in Montreal, too. Nice to have real heat for a...... EvilGentleman: Lemme see, in the NWT, only Yellowknife and Fort Smith, where I trained at Thebacha Campus of Aurora College for two months in 1998. Oh, but we also had a tour of Wood Buffalo National...... EvilGentleman: Actually, you **did** get the new fine arts, or EVA (I have no idea what the acronym stands for) building. It is the one with the "hat" and the obtuse-angled facade on it's upper stories,...... EvilGentleman: Ironically, I have seen taller buildings in Iqaluit, Nunavut.
And the buildings in Montreal were originally not allowed to be higher than Mount Royal (much like Halifax and the Citadel). Nowadays, the heights of the buildings......
