EvilGentleman: Yes Mae, these igloos were beside the baseball field. The last two pictures are from the igloo you probably remember, which was built in March 2003.
All the rest of the pictures are from the igloo...... mae annanack qisiiq: i remember this igloo it was beside the baseball field i think it was 2004 years ago.... EvilGentleman: Thanks, but credit must go where credit is due. The igloo in the pictures was built by the Inuit men of the village of Kangirsujuaq, Quebec. Kangirsujuaq is my wife's hometown. I am a Mohawk...... Vera: Wonderful Igloo. My 2 sons are boyscouts and they go igloo camping every winter (weather permitting) usuall near Paradise on Mount Rainier in washington. GGP: I so appreciate the kind words here--for me, it has been such a dream come true to have a place to share the sights that delight me with other people (a worldwide crew, no less)...... And yes I miss Kangirsujuaq :) and the Inuit and...... Guy McLaren: Colavito, The dominant western idea is a load of crap, Look beyond your tightly focussed and mindless concepts. Even an igloo is architecture.... jeeff: the last pics are like african [[3000:igloos]]. have you ever been inside one?

it's not well known that japan has its own igloo tradition. in akita there's a 'kamakura' festival. kamakura are little snow houses. it used...... GGP: Oh my God. This is the coolest thing I have ever seen--literally and figuratively. great shot. I have always wanted to experience an igloo! this is a pretty great virtual experience of it.... elaine: i thought his outfit went rather well with the igloo theme...
