Times Square subway station, NYC.... GGP: wow. what luck!... GGP: fab. how'd you get to stay in the garden so late?... GGP: that last shape is having a serious identity crisis--or just branching out.... GGP: when i was in second grade, my family relocated for a brief time from NYC to a suburb outside of Houston, Texas. behind our apartment was a big field. back behind that was an imposing...... GGP: stunnalicious!... GGP: creepy and ethereal...... GGP: haunting branches.... GGP: an amazing creature, right on down to the elegant leg-stripes!... GGP: "I'm ready for my take-off, now, Mr. DeMille."... GGP: this is a pretty amazing series with some wonderful compositions. sort of apocalyptic, but also very pleasing and oddly serene. eco-apoco!
for some reason, a few of those water shots make me think of the...... joey: ggp. exactly. like italo calvino, ##The Soft Moon##, from the book t zero.... GGP: great shot--such sumptuous textures in the metal and the wood...looks like, if that contraption were just a few feet higher, it would get you half way there.... my favorite-ever pet as a kid was my leopard gecko--exquisite, gentle creatures.... GGP: nope, you're not alone! :)... GGP: Spawn of Spawn! So Biblical! I love the idea of a pumpkin patch ambling down the front of an urban lawn!

we've been having a sort of indian summer here and i'm diggin' it. although on one of the days i took these it was slightly overcast, but...... GGP: fake cobwebs drive me bonkers!

anyway, grand shot!... GGP: in Mexico I saw a lot of tarantulas--they stand so high off the ground, they cast a serious shadow. but they are pretty slow.... GGP: that's funny, LU...b/c I ALWAYS see this truck on Fourth & Dean--which means there's a doppelganger out there! :)... GGP: hilarious! vintage citynoise!...
