I grew up on Newkirk ... I was the only white child in the building we lived in.
I have countless memories of C-Town, it was always an experience shopping there.

im not exactly sure why, but im a fan of this c-town. it...... GGP: yeah, the word "apocalyptic" comes to mind, but then C-Town always has a whiff of doom about it.... Peter: no doubt! i think its funny, too, that you can get cases of "steel reserve" there, too... that high-end malt liquor is like 10% alcohol. between the new beer aisle at {c-town} and the open-til-midnight...... Peter: you missed the best part! that ##huge## mural, on the wall headed up Bergen, that depicts tons of boulders and rocks with faces staring up at a starry night. so strange. i noticed it was...... Peter: also: i used to take the j/m/z train from my old place in {brooklyn} into {manhattan} every day... on the elevated platform near the hospital, i once saw a thug grab a book out of......
