So closed-off and vacant for such a welcoming sight
This odd church/apartment building was situated directly across the highway
An open door?
Let's look inside. It's abandoned
Which seems to be the case for most of this town
Chairs with no one to sit in them
Which seems to be the running theme for Hutchinson, Kansas as a whole.

Digging through some old photo's, here's some scanned photo's, all from 1994. Two of these buildings are no more, and the bridge has changed form.
Carrington Power Station - immediately on the other side of the Ship Canal from Irlam, next to where the River Mersey flows into it (it comes out again at Warrington, before becoming tidal at Liverpool). Now demolished, and so no longer can you tell where Irlam is from miles away, with no twin chimneys for reference. The area is currently used as a huge storage area for cars, on there way to where I do not...

Approaching Denver International Airport, shot through the window of a moving car. I like taking pictures from cars and I'm getting the hang of timing things right so everything I want in frame, is. Doesn't always work, but this one came out allright. I also like taking pictures of airports.
I wish I had a shot from further afield, but DIA always seems to sneak up on me somehow. What really adds to the strangeness of this airport is it's setting in author: I.T.U.C. : London, UK

I've lived in Bushwick for just about fifteen years now, and boy has it done a real turn around. The area is nowhere near what it used to be years hence. Broadway is being 'renovated' like crazy with stores and apartments (Can you imagine apartment rents being as high as almost $2,000, and houses selling for $250,000-$850,000?). Also, Caucasian-Americans are starting to move back into the area (Houses that are one-hundred years old and 'older' going for $500,000 and up), so you're seeing alot of 'for sale' signs, because either the blacks or hispanics (There are alot...
