The performers shown here did a fire act that involved dancing on the stage, weaving through the crowd holding flaming mitts, and a trampoline act that was just a bit too difficult to capture in the low light. Calendars need updating, must also be a storehouse of sorts. Desk and drawers full of papers Stacks of stuff on the floor. This place was pretty locked up except for this window, this was all I could get to. This pamphlet describes the Bethel Baptist Church's 121st annual session on October 27, 1953. Posted in: Townsville, AU by mime. After a night of insomnia, I decided to ride down to the river to watch the sun come up. ^ This is one of several structures that semi-circles a large field. I'm not sure what they are supposed to represent and I can't decide if I like them or not. ^ But you can climb inside them, it's a bit cramped but this is the view looking skyward. ^ The second last photo I took with my camera before it disappeared into the ether. So until I can afford to buy another, this is the last 'visions of Townsville' for a while. You don't realize how much you notice that's worth photographing until you don't have a camera anymore but it does force you to view things in a clearer way. You know that there is only now, this moment that you can see what you are seeing and cherish the view more. In some ways it has been an awakening experience for me but I still miss being able to capture all the pretty things (and not so pretty) and share it with you folks half way 'round the world.
