Old North St. Louis is one of my favorite neighborhoods in St. Louis (or anywhere) mainly because of the commitment that its community has to constantly making it a better place. ONSL suffered greatly to abandonment and decay. In the last few decades, people have been coming back to restore its buildings and its community. I went on the Old North St. Louis House and Community Tour on Saturday and got several pictures of the neighborhood.
When founded, the town of North St. Louis was founded to compete with St. Louis and possibly even become a larger port...
