While I was in the park, cops on motorscooters came by, and wer easking everyone flying kites to reel them in some... seems they were interfering with the radar swath from JFK airport, who had just called and asked them to go around the park and remind the kite flyers that this is a common problem! Picnic with kites, flying toys and cellphones... Prepping the kite... ...getting it...
