Previous Day :: Next Daylittle ukraine: I don't get it... Janis Joplin is in that mural. Above Ringo. So are Jimi Hendrix, Jerry Garcia, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Bill Haley, Jerry Lee Lewis... I'd imagine these artists would have done a lot for an ex-hippie/ rock n' roller. Red: Moved into 2555 Linden Blvd. in Cypress Projects when they were new; until I got into a fight (1964) with one of the black neighbors...we were all so friendly for a few years and then the neighborhood was changing and we got outta there and moved to Brighton Beach... DREW: hey guys, cabrini green is still pretty bad and violent, you just don't here about it as much because its smaller. If you don't believe you can check this website out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_7xzKVVrT8 go to that exact website, and it has a ton of cabrini green guys just stabbing guys,... Toze: All graffiti is born from biting, someone creates a style and others copy it, that's how it spreads and artists develop their own skills, we learn by copying and emulating others, it's in our nature, no one can conjour a new style out of thin air, it has to be... cyber: I saw him during the filmfest in September. These were taken with film so didn't notice it until they came out. comiche: Incredible...the genius of the human mind and the will of one man... what a testament to the greatness of the human spirit to dare to dream and and to believe.... and what an even greater testament to his beliefs. ghost of grandin: not trying to be rude, but you should consider getting out of your car before you take photos, i've seen it in a lot of your pictures and my feeling at least, is that it sometimes ruins the shot. just a suggestion. ghost of grandin: yeah, i recognize ringo but who are those other three guys around him? jack: hold on there pardner, your talking to a long time follower of jefferson airplane, led zeppelin and my girl janis, yes, old man jack was a hippie, and he liked his rock 'n' roll. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: The skulls are hollow, but the smaller animals are solid. I think you are meant to eat them very carefully as the sheep (?) have wool on their heads. colavitos ghost: they made great art (most of em, at least). that's what they did.
if you don't like it, don't look at it. Nug Flex: Im sure there is a reasonable explanation for all of this. Nug Flex: Is he really ripping that cig or is he just acting? You can never tell with those guys. Nug Flex: Thanks Pete, the diffusion of misinformation is a dangerous prospect for us all. Nug Flex: I want that dog with all of the tattoos, that collar looks like it fits his personality, which is great!!! Nug Flex: I didn't know cows could be that small. I wonder if they are sedated...its crazy that they just got them to sit there like that. I bet they would be happier on a farm where they could graze...its kinda sad, no? jack: good grief, my clock here at home says the same hour and minute. why is it leaning? jack: is that bogey on the corner, these pictures are great. i love old merry england. why do they call it, 'old merry england', is it because the city is locked up in tons of history. i know, its because of ebenezer scrooge who was known as the... jack: and that red car is making a right turn unto the wrong side of the street. and whats with all the old buildings all stuck together. jack: hey they copied their bus' just like our double deckers in manhattan, copy cats. and they are on the wrong side of the street. and whats with the cobblestones, can't they afford asphalt? oh no : u r sad bob: nice pictures jeeff: count me in the 'love them' group. photos like this give me the best idea of a city's flavour. ENVIRO-mental shoes: Our company has just designed a shoe that we help solve this problem. This Canadian based company "ENVIRO-mental shoes" are releasing a entry line of shoes made from used disposable coffee cups and other recycled material. These shoes will soon be in production. That's just how she was but not with people or dogs. She... bigwitt: is this place still around? joey: is it moving? or parked? i can't tell. Nug Flex: You think so? I bet they would be good with a little hot sauce. That comment about the feathers was hilarious, I don't think I would eat them either. In fact, I bet they are just part of the decoration or something. Nug Flex: Why don't you just get yourself a gun and if you ever feel threatened you can pull it out and start shooting it into the air or, if need be, at someone. procyon: I bet they're more fun to look at than they are to eat... are those solid marzipan? But they are beautiful to look at. These colors remind me of a reversible snow jacket I had in preschool (late 1980s). procyon: What a great shade of blue for a fast train. Nancy @ Aristocrat: To all the tenants who read this post, please contact me for up to date information. Susannah: It kind of looks like a prison.
