little ukraine: I don't get it... Janis Joplin is in that mural. Above Ringo. So are Jimi Hendrix, Jerry Garcia, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Bill Haley, Jerry Lee Lewis... I'd imagine these artists would have done a lot for an ex-hippie/ rock n' roller.

in response to Art on the Streets of Manhattan

Red: Moved into 2555 Linden Blvd. in Cypress Projects when they were new; until I got into a fight (1964) with one of the black neighbors...we were all so friendly for a few years and then the neighborhood was changing and we got outta there and moved to Brighton Beach...

Toze: All graffiti is born from biting, someone creates a style and others copy it, that's how it spreads and artists develop their own skills, we learn by copying and emulating others, it's in our nature, no one can conjour a new style out of thin air, it has to be...

ghost of grandin: not trying to be rude, but you should consider getting out of your car before you take photos, i've seen it in a lot of your pictures and my feeling at least, is that it sometimes ruins the shot. just a suggestion.

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: The skulls are hollow, but the smaller animals are solid. I think you are meant to eat them very carefully as the sheep (?) have wool on their heads.

in response to Sugar Skulls

Nug Flex: Why don't you just get yourself a gun and if you ever feel threatened you can pull it out and start shooting it into the air or, if need be, at someone.
