CE: I've had two bikes stolen since moving to Montreal last August. I bought an On Guard lock as mentioned above for $70 and my bike was 50. So far, it's been a good investment as it hasn't been stolen...yet.

St. Lawrence Market Bike Theft: With respect to the above threads here is a picture of our other bike that this thief still has in his possession. If you come across it kindly let me know on the email above. Here's a picture.

EvilGentleman: I'm not sure of the age, but I would guess some time between one and two years ago. The only difference between the way I saw them last year and the way they look in the satpic is I believe the second new building on Cavendish was already built. Or...

CATCH A BIKE THIEF!: We bought brand new bikes from these nice guys at CycOmotive on Bathurst. We paid $3,500 for the two mountain bikes. One was higher end Giant and the other one was Giant Pistol 2 16 inch serial # GW619449 (DARK GREY with rear/front suspension, disc brakes etc). We locked the...

Karen: I think it is nice that they feel free to use them come on this is not the USA where we are private, why are you worried about your children watching someone pee in a urinal? Look at the USA we have sick men kissing each other in front of...

in response to Public Urinals: Amsterdam

EvilGentleman: Nice pic. Good job!

CE: I biked out to Loyola via Sherbrooke the other day and I could see a couple buildings that had been demolished behind the ones that front Sherbrooke. How new are the new satellite images? I haven't used Google Earth for awhile lately because my computer is giving me a lot...

Gary, Michigan: I also heard this ad on The Whistler, but heard it on my XM radio, channel 164, which plays nothing but old time radio shows like The Whistler, Lone Ranger, Green Hornet, Fibber McGee & Molly, The Great Gildersleeve, Father Knows Best, etc. Thank you for posting this great...

in response to Signal Gasoline

ROB: Bushwick sucks, Ridgewood too. I lived in both parts and Gendale too. Williamsburgh and so on. Bushwish/Ridgewood same crap is like this, one small raid road apartment for $1500 a month with 8 mexican, equadorian, el salvadorian, etc, sharing one railroad apartment. Puerto Ricans are the...

in response to My House in Bushwick

EvilGentleman: Google Earth updated the satellite photo, you can see some of the recent changes. Last time I drove down Monkland a few weeks ago, the buildings in this article all seem to be still standing.

Josho: Wow, I can say something? That last red sign reads "pachinko" in the yellow Katakana, then "esupasu" in white, which is probably "space". I lived there for 3 years and the only one I miss is Alexandra, watashi no Colombiajin. Ohh. That's how I ended up here.

sammy: I'd be so scared but i i've always wanted to see one up close but not the way you saw it :-)

in response to Tiger Attack

EvilGentleman: It was, I thought so. The cover of the Iron Maiden single "The Trooper", released June 20, 1983. Copyright EMI Records.

kathy archbold: That looks amazing!

in response to Graffiti Building

Jamie: Yeah. I was a fan of his work, until i watched a documentary about him. Now I just think he's a pretentious twat.

in response to Anthony Gormley on the Southbank

EvilGentleman: Isn't that last pic taken from an Iron Maiden album and painted onto the side of a building?

in response to Cuban Solidarity Mural

EvilGentleman: at least the plate did not say "MOTRCITY"

in response to Two Birds with One Stone: Detroit in New York

EvilGentleman: I wonder if this was always the first post with pictures, or is it just the oldest picture post that was able to be resurrected after the Great Russian Spam Attacks of 2005?

in response to 72nd Street Subway Station

M Braedley: Although the image you selected for Halifax is typical, I much prefer the view from further down shore (beyond the coast guard docks rather than Alderny Landing, if anyone knows Dartmouth at all). From this view, you can actually see the Citadel (instead of having it obscured by Purdy's...
