Previous Day :: Next DayAlie: How artistic. Shanae: these are great.
I wish I could come to Oly! Jonathan: To all you retards in here saying how sick the people are and how those kids deserved to be kicked, shut up. These pics are either street art or fake. Tell me, the photographer snapped numerous shots of this block of ice while it was balanced on its... Mat Cormier: Iam Gay and very proud!!!!! EvilGentleman: Oh yeah, now that I look more closely, I can see the bolts and brackets and stuff. Sorry about that. When I looked quickly, they looked like 2x4's. Nice find, by the way. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: No toys? No Bones? No leashes? Catherine Penfold-Waxman: My fav is Were Eagles Dare. EvilGentleman: First off, I am a visitor here, not an admin or a law expert, so do not consider anything I say in this comment to be binding on anyone. One part of my brain thinks that although it may not be required by law to heed such requests, it might... Chris Erb: I googled Angus Yards to see if anything came up. I got this story:
http://www.canadianarchitect.com/issues/ISarticle.asp?id=145885&story_id=209461105538&issue=01012004&PC=&RType=&btac=no
Apparently the building used to be a CP rail repair shop. The mystery third of the building has apparently been made into office space. Chris Erb: The supports are bigger than 2x4 and are pretty thick steel. You can see that on the other side of the parking lot they've built much more elaborate supports. An expansion could indeed happen as there is parking on the outside of the building. i'm not really... sherri: That is soooo funny. Unfourtunately, the system search only works with WHOLE DL numbers. Damn! I coulda looked you up...heh heh..... anon (adsl-69-208-115-203.dsl.sfldmi.ameritech.net): i love how people focus on the boots and weirdo people hanging around the ice... that's awesome, just shows how little people pay attention to the creatures of the earth. humans are so self-centered. jeeff: they might also be planning to expand the store in stages. anon (170.148.92.18): He apparently moved over to the N Train in Manhattan as well as Brooklyn. Unless its another one EvilGentleman: LOL, It was issued in Fort Smith on May 22, 1998 and the licence ended with 566. That is as far as I dare go online. EvilGentleman: I have to say that is a lot of work to preserve what is in fact the facade to a discount supermaket franchise. I guess Loblaws has been doing better as of late, if they can afford to do these sorts of things. But the 2x4's look so temporary. I... JayEastsider : All East End Toronto all the way baby!!! 18 Wheeler: If the animal was already dead(hopefully from natural causes) then I don't have a problem with it. If it was puposefully frozen to death then I hope whoever it was gets hit by a bus and bleeds to death internally over a period of days. Chris Erb: There's a beautiful old wooden church here that's been turned into a cellphone store. Maurice Blackstone: Didn't your mama ever teach you how to respond to flashers?
Shout and point, "Hey, that looks just like a penis, only smaller!"
-M New Yorker on the Subway: Ignore these flashers or make fun of them up front so they get embarrarssed and put the ofending little thing away Jamie: That's probably best, yes. I am, however, accepting paypal donations. sherri: Holy crap. That's awesome. So you were an army brat like my fiancee. My parents were hippies (hence my point of views on a lot of things). That old DL from MWT, what's the number...I could look you up! HA! Nice keepsake! Catherine Penfold-Waxman: The New York Methodist Church on Dogdyke road...it has a certain ring to it. I have all kinds of conflicting images in my head. Best if I leave them there. Tara: Raoul - Some homeless people can get work, but are just lazy bums and I put animals before people anyway. People have voices, they can help themselves, but animals are virtually helpless.
Microbe - Not many people see what go on in slaughterhouses. But for all we know, this animal was... Peter: the article that JP2433 referred to is a great read. its here:
www.graffiti.org/dj/ja.html Peter: theres a deconsecrated church in midtown manhattan thats been recycled into a rather (in)famous club:
www.nightclubvip.net/avalon.asp
also, the photos on this page are making me lol:
www.velvetlist.com/Avalon.php3 Jamie: There's loads of empty churches going spare round here. I know of at least one that's been converted into a massgage parlour, but i want to buy this one
in new york, lincolnshire
alas; i am poor, so can't. Tara: That is one of the sickest things ever. I hope the poor thing was long dead when the person did it. william 16th May 2006 12.10 GMT: my favourite bridge walked across it december 2003, always saw it in movies and just had to see it for myself ive got a photo of me on the bridge but don't know how to make it smaller to send elaine: pree-ty
best not to play chess if you lose. i favour backgammon because i win at that. Biff: Wow! Like Ireland the whole country is a church... elaine: you can take photos of anything you like except minors. or miners, during the days of the strikes, but that's just because the police don't like you doing stuff they don't like you doing - that seems to be a 'law' elaine: in edinburgh when i was a teen, they started the trend for recycling churches. there was one which was a sweetshop distribution place, which we lied about having a shop to get to look at the wonder within, and another one was an electricity sub station. i think this was... Jamie: I'm certainly no lawyer, but as i understand it, there is no law in the uk about taking photos of peoples houses. Aerial photography companies for examples endlessly fly over our homes taking photos in the hope that we'll buy them and put them on our mantlepiece. Google Maps, in... Mr. Seenitall: Fair enough, Steelisreal drea: I was born in the Philippines. Go to nice small islands with beaches and watch the sunset..it's gorgeous! I suggest going to Boracay. Mollena: I graduated from Hunter in 1987. I have a tag if my name that David was cool enough to hit in my yearbook. I will dig it up for the people who are his fans. I will scan some photos of our schoolyard with his stuff on... Chris Erb: The kid in picture one has an eery resemblance to the Moshzilla internet phenomenon.
sally: there are many triangles in chelsea, too. jeeff: there's a no frills store at dundas & lansdowne in toronto that uses the same technique with an old facade, though on a lesser scale. purely decorative. i'd like to see it covered with ivy. jeeff: yeah for sure. thanks for the info nic.
In Central Asia, Golden Eagles sometimes are trained for falconry, and in Kazakhstan there are still hunters using these eagles in order to catch deer and antelopes.
Golden_eagle
holy shit! mike: DONDI IS THE KING GGP: looks like a golden eagle to me, too. Liz: EG I see your point about alcohol fueled car accidents, but oh how I envy Quebecers being able to go to the corner store to pick up a six-pack = { metro1 est 1988: i remember talking to an old school artist about dondi when i was young. He had nothing but good things to say about him. that image burnt in my memory for years. i just had to paint something for the guy. DONDI YOU ROCK. jeeff: doctor the photo? why would anyone doctor a photo of a random flat? better get the tinfoil hat on quick. Spike: Broken blossoms on the pathway.. R.: I just had my bike stolen from my supposedly 'posh' building - the bike was in plain view of the front door of the condo at all times. One swift clean cut through my 10mm cable - so much for trying to prevent the 'wheel' from being stolen. ... Biff: Wow! Biff: Wow! That is amazining. We just have song birds, seagulls and pigeons, not that there's anything wrong with that.. shercat: actually this is my house in Stanley Street and it does NOT look quite like this. Did you doctor the photo? I dont know who the hell you think you are (apart from a total idiot) but I want this removed you did not have my permission to publish this... Previous Day :: Next Day |
