The funny thing about Tommy's was that when it changed ownership, the neighborhood kids (me, Larry and Kenny, Bobby, Albie, Stevie Daniels, Mickey Lapidus, and... The Shield JoeyD: the Dirdon station and area around is one of my favorite places in SJ it really sits at the gateway to downtown as aproached from the alameda.... Michael Waugh: I am lucky enough to have lived here, here are a couple showing my father Phil Waugh, receiving a Swazi shield in honor, dancers were from Mataffin, 25 years at Dickon Hall Products. With pride, that same shield now hangs in my living room.
