Previous Day :: Next Daybenji: thanks jack, i also really enjoy pics of other lands, especially when taken by someone who is new to it, there's something extra in them...
the building is called federation square, does fun things with light :) Biyoushi: Aloha.. I was wondering where I could find some of these? I live on Oahu and I am looking for a vividly colorful piece, actually a few of them, that I can use as a backdrop for some photoshoots... hit me up at my website.. biyoushihawaii.com...
Mahalo
Biyoushi ehy2k: Great photographs! I'm also intrigued by the event itself. deadkidsyntax: Simply amazing. ZRzuce: That is a really fun pictures. What a streetscape! zind4gi: Didn't realize they were doing it in NYC too. It's here in Portland as well and in San Fran. EW: This really made me smile. elaine: i want that wish you were here picture as a postcard, and i want loads of copies so i can always send it to people. seeing it on it's own it just looks totally bonkers, and like a wish you were here of a wild mindset. Peter: theres a more comprehensive set of pics here:
www.flickr.com/groups/idiotarod08/pool Compnerd: Oh, I had no idea what this was. Looks like this was an episode of CSI:NY one time. :) sxeminority: I missed watching it this year :(
I also told some of my friends in the UK about this event and they didn't seem to believe me. I just showed them these photos and they are amazed :D RTF: This.
Is.
Awesome.
*plans for next year* jack: actually they are tiny, they are only 2 inches tall, the smallest people in the world, they are used for train sets and architects building designs. jack: peter, i congratulate you on a great photo journalistic coverage of that event, it is beyond words, well at least the words i can't say out loud. good pic's. now i want to go to coney to cover the mermaid parade in june. Peter: what a wide-open park... nice. i didnt even notice the scale of it until i noticed the tiny people in the shot. Peter: its been a relatively warmish winter here (so far, though february is often a killer) so i, too, am keeping my eyes peeled for the spring blossoms... Peter: the sky in that second one is rad, as is the sunlight on that building... speaking of... what is that building? it looks interesting... Peter: heh, i like the paste-up of the guy spraying the stencil... Peter: Fuqing Peter: nice diesel passat... i like the last one, too... birdcages, tech trash, lawn chairs... im imagining people just dump stuff outside the donation center there, yeah? the salvation army in my old hood had an avalanche on their sidewalk every monday morning... jack: hool, why is it your pictures are so great, i always look you up to see your pic's. jack: reminds me of the 'fuigmo' from the army. F U I got my orders. jack: i like a little cream in my coffee. jack: i love the pics, i especially enjoy pic's from different lands. guy's africa and your australia. jack: i always look at my tree in front to wait for the early blooms of spring, i'm looking. jack: joey, you had a lot of snow in the mtns. out there. i'll be in mission viego soon, hope to get some pic's of the seals at la jolla. jack: no last wednesday i think. believe me on sunday its packed. you have to see the place on a moonlit evening, in the snow and the interior lights on, its a hallmark picture. sole: this nice! Andrew Smith: Graham - I remember your Mum & Dads hardware shop on Fiddlers Lane - it was a bit of a wonderland going in as a kid! Did it used to cover the two shops, next door to one another, in the 1980's? joey: was this photo taken on a sunday? joey: checking to see who has a dirty mind.? Previous Day :: Next Day |
