The Bullring picture I notice that the old wooden Methodist Chapel looks to be completely brick built and with an extension at the playpark end, is it still Methodist and has it been rebuild since I left in 1965ish?

Your last picture I recall it as a thriving shop for sweets & toys and when it changed hands the new owner an ex-barber from Burtonwood AAF Base built the almost flat roofed side extension employing one bricklayer part-time supported by himself and a few of us senior school... We lived in the flats from when they were built in the 70's to about 1986/7 - my Mum was the warden in one of them.
