Rob Tynan: Hi Norma, The "shuttlecock" was erected about three or four months ago I think. The roundabout is just at the bottom of Victory Road. Have a look on Google Earth. The photo was taken approx 1 year ago, and shows the road under construction. If you do go...

Norma Bannon (nee Bolton): Hi Rob, When was the shuttlecock erected? It's the first I've heard or seen of it. At least I have a landmark to look for, when I come 'home' on my next visit. Cadishead has changed so much, I will have trouble finding my way back to Mums!!...

Norma Bannon (nee Bolton): Hi Joanne, I too, enjoy reading your posts. I realise the point Alan was trying to make. Alan Taylor: Joanne, My previous was posted without seeing your picture, Sue's face seems familiar more so than Roy's and the name Garratt is not unfamiliar although I cannot say for certain if it was from Irlam [Lancs] or Scunthorpe [Lincs], certainly not from my time in Devon/Ceredigion/Nottinghamshire. Looking forward to hearing from you. Alan...
