Previous Day :: Next DayPeter: i saw hilux utes in ecuador; most had 4 doors and a short pickup-truck bed... EvilGentleman: Near as I can determine from Google, a Hilux Ute is a slang term for the Toyota 4x4 pickup truck sold in Australia and NZ known as the the Toyota HiLux. I believe "Ute" is an abbreviated slang for "utility vehicle". HiLux trucks used to be sold in North America... jamie: wring their necks? markus: thank god I thought went spent another billion on our space program and the sticker said made in Canada markus: cool hancock pic Thys: We have an african grey, actually two. They both like sitting on our shoulders, but how do you stop them from biting your clothes while up there? markus: good one, thats across the street from office EvilGentleman: The sticker says "For Extra-Vehicular Anal Probing Only. Plug anal probe extension here." markus: I wonder what that little red/white sticker says. markus: good story great pictures I was getting a little worried about the medic in pic #10 EvilGentleman: If only they had digital cameras around in those days, the pictures I would have had... Then again, I suppose the dealers, crazies and cops are all groups that get upset when people take pictures of them. But if I sat in the gardens at the Montreal Children's Hospital across... markus: I do remember "That Guy" jamie: Be Happy. It's a Gouranga Bin EvilGentleman: I wonder if some fool actually tried to buy from the cops? Now that would be a series of photos to remember. markus: I laughed I walked throught the crie and when I got to the top the cops were saying it to with big smiles on there faces, I forgot sense-a-million good one EvilGentleman: What about the guy who, back in 1991, used to live in Cabot Square (or pigeon park, as you call it) who had a plastic beer cup that lived as long as "Wilson" in the movie "Cast Away". He always refilled the same plastic beer cup, and he always argued... EvilGentleman: Naaah, they are a superior species, so they probably evolved suction cup ass-cheeks. EvilGentleman: I can still hear the cries of "Hash, coke, sense-a-million, ti-quettes." markus: I wonder if they have there seatbelts on markus: I will never forget the stairs going up from the metro prior to a concert it was crazy walking up them there was so much dealing and crazies it was a experience I will never forget. Also remember the guy with the pencils. EvilGentleman: The ones in back are juvenile aliens. While our human ears may not even be able to hear the sounds emanating from their voiceboxes, I have it on good authority that the official translation goes something like this: "Are we there yet?" EvilGentleman: And the scariest part of those days, Markus? Good ol' "Doink" selling T-shirts. That and the late-night fights between the girls.
Man, how many times did we have to act as referees while we waited there for the bus after closing time... markus: you use to be able to drink in pigeon park prior to a concert but I guess now the the good old forum is gone. jeeff: oh yeah, great neighbours. in my hometown the streets directly surrounding the clubhouse were very quiet and orderly. of course 2 blocks out it was ringed with crackhouses. groovehouse: Here's a link to a current picture of Astroworld

I always hate seeing these losers at bike meets at their booth selling crap. Kids line up to get their calendar signed by these guys all day long. They're not good people. Why we forget this, I can't say. I was happy... Marlo: Wind turbines--- so rational, like bicycles. I hope they're lit at night to prevent birds from flying into them.
Really amazing structures....
jeeff: those are some sweet rides. Catherine Penfold-Waxman:
I used to live at the end of a hall in a big apartment building on the upper west side of Manhattan. Our position afforded us a great view of the whole corridor. Toward the end of our stay there, a very pretty, intense woman moved into one of the... ksedge: EvilGentleman - you've got it. there are two of these in my neighborhood. i had never taken a photo of them until the other day when i was walking by and saw this bike locked to the rack this way. i thought it looked neat so i snapped it. Susan: This picture sure brings back memories of my childhood, 30-35 yrs ago. Every summer I stayed in Havre de Grace with my grandparents, and we would eat at The Diner twice a week. I always got the same thing, crab cakes. I now live in Arizona, and... Halfa: I have them in my back yard Halfa: And they are the ssame in australia anna ostro: The universe nurtures us. It allows one to take painful emotions and transform them into pleasure.
