Previous Day :: Next Day

phill: My bro was just in chicago last week, he said cabrini is still standing, most of the population is still there in fact. There have been recent cases in fact of cabrini residents robbing the new residents moving in where parts of cabrini once were. An to shelia/neworleans they're clearly...

in response to Cabrini Green [whats left of it]

Chris Erb: Hahaha, let me know what you think of it. It was my favourite place in all of Montreal, it's good too because all the inggredients are organic and therefore more delicious and the workers are, as a rule, all paid a living wage.

in response to Everybody Hwang Kum Tonight

EvilGentleman: Did you just say burrito? Where did I put those car keys? NOTE EvilGentleman is presently not available, as he is roaring down the highway at insane speeds, headed in the direction of N.D.G.

in response to Everybody Hwang Kum Tonight

Patryk: The man rocks! so does the band! THE BOX IS BACK!!!

in response to The Box Band Tour Bus

in response to I Love Cody Oakes

zagg: frame shot! haw haw haw :D

in response to A Sweet Natural Eye to the New Hip Moon

Chris Erb: ok, I probably did walk by this place then. Next time you're in this area and you're hungry, definitely hit up Burrito National for the best burrito ever!

in response to Everybody Hwang Kum Tonight

EvilGentleman: A hydroponic pot growing site, perhaps? Not too many windows and none of any size to be noted. Then again, less windows would reduce the costs of both heating and air conditioning, so maybe it is a self-sufficent house, powered by geothermal wells and solar power.

in response to Modernism on Squires

EvilGentleman: I had no clue, so I Googled it. Co-op la Maison Verte ssems to be at 5785 Sherbrooke W, so Hwang Kum, at 5908 Sherbrooke W, must be a block and a half to the West.

in response to Everybody Hwang Kum Tonight

Chris Erb: I think i've seen this place before. Is it near Co-op la Maison Verte?

in response to Everybody Hwang Kum Tonight

Vivian: Ratner took them to Atlantic yards!

in response to Water Tower Platforms in Dumbo, Brooklyn

Vivian: Delicious beauty parlor?

in response to Luscious

shabby jatt: cool keep the peace im shabz

in response to Call Out Gouranga!

anon (nat1.northshorelij.com): greyhound bus to atlantic city

in response to Penn Station Greyhound

EvilGentleman: The "I hate all of you ugly" text written above the smiling figure makes the post.

in response to I Love Cody Oakes

EvilGentleman: The 3rd pic with the bike, is a perfect example of a frame shot.

in response to A Sweet Natural Eye to the New Hip Moon

jeeff: i guess we know where the neighbourhood kids smoke weed now.

in response to I Love Cody Oakes

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: I love this series. I think the stick people are great. Simulacra. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simulacrum

in response to A Sweet Natural Eye to the New Hip Moon

Susannah : How else will we ever come to know the true meaning of minute rice?

in response to Effective Communication

Susannah : I can't find him! I'll have to look again after my morning coffee...

in response to A Sweet Natural Eye to the New Hip Moon

in response to Le Parkour

shelia/neworleans : It seems to me you pretty much know what it is you want to do. So... don't ask questions that you already know the (your) answer. No I don't think they should rebuild "public housing" (the projects) especially with the same game plan that laid to this Great American Travesty. However,...

in response to Cabrini Green [whats left of it]

anon (cache-dtc-ac06.proxy.aol.com): almost as pretty as a deadbeat dad

in response to Chicago

Chris Erb: I'm sure the artists spend more time talking to locals than actually painting. One of my past articles from Sussex has picture 2 from almost the same spot pre-mural and also the camp Sussex mural as it was being worked on.

in response to Downtown Murals

Chris Erb: He's the artist. I've been told that he's quite an interesting person and really nice.

in response to Downtown Murals

EvilGentleman: Nope, it was taken in the East end near the corner of Liebert and Notre-Dame, just a few blocks past Honore-Beaugrand.

in response to McShopping Center, Venus Flytrap U-Haul, Alabama Cop Plate and an Iranian Fiesta

N3CK_ONE : Anyway neckface rocks and peter caine does not. I aslo rock so suck my beries huckfin

in response to Fuck Neck Face

nanci: Great pics. Still live in tarrytown would not give it for the world. What a shame they had to close the plant down, made the town die too but like all we survived and the town is up and running again. what is to become of the GM graveyard? no...

in response to Abandoned General Motors Plant

Matt: is that macdonalds picture taken in beaconsfeild?

in response to McShopping Center, Venus Flytrap U-Haul, Alabama Cop Plate and an Iranian Fiesta

zagg: Fabulous: these are some great (and super canadian) murals --- I'm still not 100% sure if the man in the first photograph is the artist of the paintings, or a farmer painted in the mural.

in response to Downtown Murals

ninei: thats a great church with good food

in response to Brotherhood Baptist Church

zagg: I have never read the book (but now I'm interested) and only have romantic joyous views of Chicago (aka tourist) but I love how all the comments in this is so obviously from people who found the site through search engines about the 'there are no children here' book. ...

in response to henry horner projects

Interested: I am currently reading the book and am quite intrigued by the story. I am studing Child and Family Services with an interest in child advocacy along with the life and struggles of children. If anyone from any of the housing projects would like to talk to me e-mail...

in response to henry horner projects

zagg: Thanks Susannah, I was slightly afraid that bee (can be seen on the last photograph, on the right flower) would hunt me down and sting me after using my flash. Thankfully I remained intact.

in response to A Sweet Natural Eye to the New Hip Moon

zagg: I hope James and Craig get back together, just so they can break up again and we can have more signs... is that awful?

in response to Effective Communication

Susannah : Either that or there's a hobo walking around with new used sneakers and a tummy ache!

in response to Effective Communication

Susannah : Great collection - I especially love the sunflowers.

in response to A Sweet Natural Eye to the New Hip Moon

zagg: I love these shots. Unreal. Amazing --- and a spectacular view.
