This building used to house Schmidt music. They've been gone for a while but someone is maintaining the wall which is cool. Not sure who's music it is (I think it used to say somewhere on the wall.)

More of the Boston Trip My brother-in-law works at MIT web link We went down on a nice Sunday. Lots of cool architecture. Stately old collegiate buildings and cool new modern stuff as well Kresge Auditorium - web link Apperantly the ceiling at the top is only 3 inches thick I should have taken another shot of the building itself but the roof was so cool and textual The Wiesner Building (my brother-in-law calls it the diving board to nowhere) and of course a Frank O. Gehry - The Stata Center the vent for the parking underneath looks like a popcorn bucket from the movies and this "feature" reminded...

Rockport Mass

My sister says on the weekends this town is overrun with tourists. I imagine like Jack was saying about Sheepshead Bay Kicked Off Bus We went during the week, it was empty. Gotta like the name of this "point of interest" Lots of color(s) everywhere I love the super macro feature of my camera when it comes to flower pictures. These guys are about the size of my thumb. the call of the sea and a fine sailing vessel

Little League Baseball

More Boston pics. My niece and nephew play softball and baseball in Lexington, MA (which looks more like Anytown USA then any place I've ever seen.) They had the start of the baseball season ceremony. I had to wait for all the kids to sit down but I think I got a good shot of all the color and pagentry.

Just got back from a trip to Boston. This is downtown across from Faneuil Hall marketplace. Just a busted up parking sign right? But how does something that tall get underneath the sign to ding it? There's not even a sidwalk really. There's a lot of road construction in the area (echo of the Big Dig I guess.) Something might have gotten way off course.

This 70's house block is what I look at now when I work (yeah I know at least I have a window.) I didn't know it was a "style" of architecture. Brutalist architecture web link I just thought they were dated.
