When the PATH train rolled into the Harrison stop yesterday on my way home, this man got on, wearing purple sunglasses, carrying a walking-stick and hefting a rather large sandwich.
He ate the sandwich quickly, finishing it in one dramatic gulp.
I have captured the drama as it unfolded before me, and present it here to you in video-form:

I decided to turn right and enter the Williamsburg Bridge for my drive into Manhattan...

Gaining speed, I quickly overtook the scooterist...
And was distracted by the wonderful view of the Manhattan skyline, looking north towards the Empire State Building...
I sped past the projects in Manhattan's Lower East Side as I prepared to exit the bridge...
It's easy to discover yourself speeding on the bridge, as its long, unpoliced spans are conducive to trying to make up time for the traffic jam that surely lies ahead...
Into the traffic jam I go, heading across town and quickly...
