Extra! Extra! This young buck has been trying to sell the same newspaper for ten years. He perches atop an overhang above the entrance to the Daily Grind coffee shop/newsstand, hoping to sell his wares. I think he is saving for a new bike. Or a scarf that won't try to kill him.

In the middle of this typical Halifax West suburb there is a pond. Some might call it a small lake, others a bog. While normally dark and mucky, this night the water reflected the sun catching the cut-and-paste houses and it didn't seem so bad after all.
