i went for a long, long walk tonight.
^ the variety store down the street from my place. it always makes me think of peter's bodegas.
^ dovercourt and queen. this building is a church community centre or a concert hall or something. a starbucks is going in across the street. i am not amused.
^ it's not a robot building but it has character.
^ heavy traffic on the lakeshore even at 11pm on a thursday.
^ it's made of beer caps. this is on the side of the 'canada' souvenir shop at the harbourfront centre. a guy...

i thought that going back to school would give me a new perspective.
this is the robarts library (web link), the main library for the university of toronto:

"wow, i've never seen the city from this angle before..."

we were walking back to the car from the st. lawrence market. it was 7pm. the market stays open late on fridays. i was carrying a bag of tuna and tiger shrimp weighed down under crushed ice.
wait a minute, what was that?
shit.
i was a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see flames (or smoke or something). i wanted hysteria, not a bunch of baby-faced firefighters and gawkers. but still, you don't see that every day. it reminded me of elaine's burnt out cars.
