A Graveyard & A Playground

author: ghostofgrandin : Long Island, NY

last wednesday night was a particularly creepy night. i was annoyed that it was foggy because i had been promised a pretty spectacular geminid meteor shower. the came back on thursday night as well so i'll have to wait for the geminids, but january 4 should bring the quadrantid meteor shower. here's hoping. in any case, i found myself near a and a (the brilliance of long island town planning!) and here are some shots i took. bordering the playground. another of the tree and the light. this is actually looking at the front of a head start. st. francis de sales.

i posted some photos of general chicago goodness, here a select few i shot of the festival in union park, and few other nice ones of chicago at large. a couple of street musicians in the bucktown/wicker park area. view of the city from lincoln park, on lake michigan. chicago river. sunday afternoon at pitchfork. both days found union park filled with people, but the park was really buzzing on sunday. it was really the perfect location for the festival, framed by the sears tower to the north and a fantastic old church to the south. this was taken at the end...
