 This wrought-iron fence between the Grey Nuns' Convent and Le Faubourg Sainte-Catherine on Guy Street has a new purpose the builders probably never considered - a bicycle rack.

 These pictures are of the area around the Grey Nuns' Convent downtown by the corner of Guy and Rene Levesque. The first five shots were taken from inside Le Faubourg Sainte-Catherine, through the windows.

 Sometimes when you take pictures of fireworks without a tripod, weird things happen. Such was the case this past June 24th when I was riding my bike along the Lachine bike trail at night and saw the Dorval display of St Jean Baptiste fireworks.
Lucky for me, I was a few miles away when the giant radioactive space sperm invaded the festivities and impregnated all the partygoers with überhuman DNA designed to make the human race eventually evolve into a superior race - skunk cabbage.
