It was a sunny day with a blue sky , perfect weather for the 33rd annual Atlantic Antic street festival this past Sunday. Thousands of people roamed the 10 blocks, sampling the variety of food, and browsing hundreds of vending and informational booths.
“This is the best street fair in New York,” said Lew Hoens, 33, as he sipped a plastic cup full of beer and listened to a jazz band play on one of the 10 stages. “It’s very relaxed, very community.”

 Hongkomg International Airport was voted as the Best Airport 6 times in the last 7 years, missing only 2006.

Having passed through the airport several times, twice this year, I can say that it offers the most pleasant experience of all the airports I have passed through, departed from or arrived at.

NY Actor/Filmmaker Robert Oppel made his first feature film in Brooklyn. It's called "Never Down" Kurt Vonnegut's last film and stars Robert LaSardo. Oppel got frustrated and consumed by alcohol one night and wrote his name all over the city with a Magnum marker and initialing a pentagram in the O of Oppel. He was arrested and spent a week in jail. Some graf artists opposed what he did while others respected it. I gotta say to write your name as many places as he did in one night, you gotta be smooth. ...

Six hours into the 12 hour flight from Toronto to Tokyo, I woke up and started taking these pictures. These are posted as they were taken, just reduced in size. According to the flight attendant, we were flying over Alaska. So, Alaska it is. Or, is it?
