The Battery Park Development web link is located on the northshore of Cleveland's nearwest side in the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood which is very up and coming as they say. The site is currently under development and I had the chance to sneak in to the powerhouse and snap a few shots before renovation begins.
A nice shot of the exterior
These next few are just a few more details of the interior.
From what I understand this will house a community center, gourmet restaurant and a deli of sorts for those in the neighborhood. Also check out web link for more info on...

Last weekend, my friend wanted to make sure the new repairs on his car were sound, so he decided to take it for a short test ride. So he and I went across the border to Plattsburgh, located about 45 minutes drive from Montreal in upstate New York.

Located in the yard of this partially burnt and abandoned church at de Courcelles and Saint-Jacques in the Saint-Henri district of Montreal, this statue of Jesus has had a pentagram added to his podium, resulting in it being known as the "Satanic Jesus" statue.
More on this church later. I will probably get around to posting my pics of it one of these days, but CE's pics are better.

For a clean Fabre Street, no papers or garbage.
Down with garbage
A block over to rue Rarnier where the signs of rue Fabre seem to have been ignored:
The culprit! It seems that squirrels are unable to read.
We informed him of the signs but as soon as we walked away, he went for more.
It seems that the squirrel is the only problematic resident of rue Garnier. The rest of the street is pristine.
rue Fabre and rue Garnier, Plateau, Montreal
