But yesterday I also saw the first photo hool put in, and none of us seem to be beginner anythings. I would never call myself a photographer normally, but i was standing in a gallery the other day and the bloke said are you a photographer, and I said, I wouldn't have said so until recently... Actually i still am not, but I certainly have developed something since starting to post here. Do you feel like you have particularly a fresh eye for being in a new place or do you usually photograph? Marc: 23rd Apr 2005 - 14:44 GMTFor me i think a large part of the 'identity' is the discipline- so writing something every day and thinking about how to make it better makes me feel like a writer, something i used to do a lot more of (the feedback+improvement part). The past few months have seen me take thousands of photos with my phat memory cards- and i definitely feel like i have a lot to learn as far as technique (seeing hool's photos definitely teaches me a lot about composition, exposure) and even as far as how to incorporate feedback and tell if i'm "improving" or accomplishing whatever goals i want "better".. but photography isnt something i have done, with or without feedback, for anywhere near as long as writing.. Jamie: 23rd Apr 2005 - 17:26 GMTelaine: i think that upon discovering this website, many people become things that they never knew they could be. Writers, artists, photographers, even philosophers. Things they no doubt always were in some intrinsic way. Talents that laid dormant waiting for a suitable catalyst. scott l.: 25th Apr 2005 - 05:28 GMTmarc i thought you knew not to go to Cathedral it's scary restricted man full of bad children don't want you getting cut up new you don't run on credit fondoer: 28th Oct 2005 - 18:16 GMTi'm from Guadalajara , you all got some good as pictures soy de polanco by the way buer clk: 11th Dec 2005 - 06:01 GMTque onda cabrones pongan mas fotos que onda oso cuando bamos a pintar en la fabrica de por mi casa buer clk: 11th Dec 2005 - 06:04 GMToso asme un paro para mandar fotos en internet
