i've heard that the only thing to do in hong kong is shop. is this true?

Stressed: 20th Apr 2005 - 19:32 GMT

oh come on, one could say that about any town. beijing, sao paulo, san francisco, toronto, new york, montreal, paris, london.

jeeff: 20th Apr 2005 - 19:38 GMT

i didn't say it myself, just asked your opinion. i think all of the cities you list have a variety of well-known attractions, but i don't know any for hong kong.

several of my friends from tokyo visited hong kong (either on vacation or seeing family) and they said that it was hard to find anything to do besides shopping. maybe it's harder for tourists or travellers to find the entertainment that locals take for granted. i asked because hong kong is a place i'd like to visit some day, and i was surprised to hear negative things from my friends.

so, what is there to do in hong kong? what do the locals do?

leandra: no help:(
